As part of February's celebration of Black History Month, retired Seattle Fire Primary Claude Harris received the Mayor Norman B. Rice Public Retainer Honor. Given by the Martin Luther Male monarch, Jr. Commemorative Committee, the award recognized Fire Master Harris as a trailblazer in the burn down service and embodying the principles of Dr. King.
Many members, retired and active, of the Seattle Fire Department came to congratulate our retired Burn down Chief Harris.
